Do you need help buying or selling a home?
Careful thought and consideration goes into finding you the best real estate agent.
We identify the most experienced real estate agents. Most agents we recommend rank in the top 1% to 5% of agents in the country. Some have sold more than 1,000 homes and many have been selling real estate for more than 20 years.
LOCAL REAL ESTATE FOCUS
We look for the best real estate agents who actively sell homes in your community and who have knowledge about local market conditions, inventory and prices. Due to their high ethical standards, we use real estate agents who are members of their local board of REALTORS®.
QUALITY HOME MARKETING
We frequently review real estate agent marketing plans to find agents who provide the quality our clients demand. Professional photographs, brochures, local print advertising, web based marketing, home warranty offerings and social media activity are all important for a successful home sale.
POSITIVE CLIENT REVIEWS
We contact local REALTOR® board leaders, leading local REALTORS® and local REALTOR® associations for feedback and recommendations on the best real estate agents in communities across the country. We also check Zillow, Yelp and our own database of feedback from the thousands of clients we have served.
NICHE HOME EXPERTISE
We will help you find a specialist whether you are looking for a luxury home, waterfront property, condominium, relocating, a first-time buyer or need a short sale. It is important to work with a top real estate agent who understands you, your home and your needs.
REAL ESTATE EDUCATION
Ongoing training and education are essential to stay on top of the changing real estate market. Many of the agents we select have the GRI, CRS, ABR, CRE, SRS and/or SRES designations. We recommend the best licensed REALTORS® (members of the National Association of REALTORS®) to our clients. REALTORS® are held to the highest ethical standards including the REALTOR® code of ethics.

FREE HOME VALUATION
Sell your home faster and for more money using a top real estate agent recommended by Referz. Our agents typically rank in the top 5% nationally and many have sold more than 1000 homes. Averaging more than 15 years of experience, they have the local knowledge, understanding of the buyers needs and wants, marketing expertise, negotiating success and perseverance to get you from listing to SOLD.
STEP 1: PRICE
The most important step to selling your house is pricing it correctly. Price your home too high and it will take longer to sell, potentially at a lower price than if you had priced it right to begin with. Referz recommended real estate agents are trained to analyze current market conditions, past home sales and unique property characteristics to advise you of the optimal price for your home. Receive a free custom market analysis (CMA) for your home from a Referz approved real estate expert in your neighborhood.
STEP 2: PREP
Your home needs to look it’s best if you want to get top dollar when you sell. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars remodeling, however, small things can make a huge difference. A Referz recommended real estate agent will walk through your home to help you prioritize repairs, updates, staging and decluttering (if necessary). They can help you to understand which home improvements will yield the best return on your investment and what will get a buyers attention to make your home stand out from the competition.
STEP 3: HOME MARKETING
Marketing is what will set your home apart from competing homes for sale and get buyers in the door. Successful listing agents use online marketing, social media, email, direct mail, print and local contacts to sell your home. A top real estate agent will tailor the marketing to target potential buyers who will be interested in your home, whether it’s a luxury waterfront property or a fixer-upper.
STEP 4: NEGOTIATIONS
Successfully negotiating a home sale, like all negotiations is more of an art than a science. Having an agent with a proven record of success who has closed hundreds or even thousands of sales, can have a big impact on the sale price, terms and conditions. An experienced agent will know when to stand firm and when to give a little to make the sale happen. The first offer isn’t always the best offer and the market knowledge of a top agent will help you to determine if it’s best to negotiate or walk away from an offer.
STEP 5: CLOSING
An experienced closing team will coordinate and keep you updated regarding the appraisal, inspection, repairs (if necessary), title work and scheduling. The team will make sure the buyer and his/her agent follow through on their obligations and deadlines to make sure everything proceeds as smoothly as possible. There are so many things that need to happen prior to closing and having someone who has done it hundreds of times before will help to ensure that everything happens to your satisfaction
REALTOR® REVIEWS. THE REALTOR® DIFFERENCE.
REALTOR® ARE HONEST
A REALTOR® pledges to treat all parties to a transaction honestly. This includes the client and other REALTOR® or real estate agents and their clients. A REALTOR® should make every effort to put the needs of the client first.
REALTOR® ARE COMPETENT
One of the best ways to determine the competence of a REALTOR® is to use a REALTOR® who is highly reviewed by their past clients and experienced selling homes in the area relevent to your home sale or search.
REALTOR® BELIEVE IN EQUALITY
REALTOR® agree to provide equal professional services regardless of the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin or sexual orientation of consumers.
YOU NEED A REAL ESTATE AGENT TO BUY A HOME
A buyer’s agent will guide you through the home-search, financing, negotiations and closing. They will be at your disposal to answer questions and to assist you with resolving any concerns or problems that may arise during the buying process.
FIND THE RIGHT PROPERTY
After discussing the details of what you are looking for and what you can afford to buy, the agent will schedule showings to tour homes that match your buying criteria. Trying to schedule showings without the help of an agent can be frustrating and time consuming. You will need to contact the listing agent for each home directly, wait for them to get back to you and then find a time that works for both of you to meet at the property. The average home buyer tours 40 to 50 homes before finding a home they want to buy. A buyers agent can schedule appointments back-to-back, because they have access to every home that is on the market. The odds of you being able to schedule back-to-back showings on your own is highly unlikely, so your home search will take much longer and you will potentially miss out on getting in to see hot new listings. Do yourself a favor and work with a buyer’s agent!
NEGOTIATE THE OFFER
The buyer’s agent will advise you on an appropriate price to offer and present it to the seller’s agent. They will negotiate the price and terms to your benefit. If you attempt to buy a home without the help of a buyer’s agent, you risk paying too much. You may offer $20,000 less than the asking price and think you’re getting a great deal if the seller accepts, however, what if the house was priced $50,000 too high? A real estate agent who is experienced in the area will know the fair market value of the house and can advise you accordingly.
GET THE DEAL CLOSED
The best buyer’s agents will be able to recommend a reputable mortgage broker, real estate attorney, closing and title company, home inspector, handyman or other repair people, movers, and more. This can help expedite the process and relieve you of the burden associated with trying to find trusted professionals on your own.
If something should arise during the home inspection or appraisal, the buyer’s agent can advise you on how to proceed, and can act as a buffer between you and the seller. An experienced agent will be able to help you to assess if negotiation is possible and in your interest or if it may be better to walk away from the sale.

Do you work with real estate agents in my area?
We work with real estate agents across the country including in your neighborhood. We specialize in large urban areas, however, we also frequently assist clients in rural communities.
Can you recommend a REALTOR®?
Yes, in fact we work almost exclusively with licensed REALTORS®. A REALTOR® is simply a real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of REALTOR®, the State Association of REALTOR® and/or the local Association of REALTOR®. In order to include your home for sale on the local multiple listing service (MLS), a real estate agent must be a REALTOR®.
Are you just some call center employee sitting at a desk in China or India? What do you really know about finding a good real estate agent for me?
No way! In fact, every real estate agent search and client recommendation is conducted by a licensed real estate broker right here in the United States. In fact, our training and education exceeds that of more than 90% of licensed real estate agents selling homes in the US. Needless to say, we live and breath real estate. We have been involved in more than 20,000 home sales.
