What is the average price of a home in Deephaven? We currently live in St. Louis park, however, I grew up in the Lake Minnetonka area and we would really like to move back to the area. Our budget is about $950,000 and we are looking for a home on Lake Minnetonka. Do you think we’ll be able to find a small house for that price?

For $950,000 you will be able to buy a nice home in Deephaven, although, probably not on Lake Minnetonka. Deephaven is some of the most expensive lake property on Minnetonka. You can typically find a home on the lake in Deephaven for less than $2,000,000, however, we did a quick search of the MLS for you and it looks like there isn’t much inventory at the moment. It looks like prices are closed to $3 million currently. You might want to wait until spring at which time there will likely be a lot of new homes coming on the market.

If you want something in Deephaven and are okay with something that isn’t on Lake Minnetonka, you can find something for around $450,000 – $500,000.
